Cher’s Son Elijah at Risk of Having Inheritance Seized by Estranged Wife (Excl)

Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman is at risk of having the inheritance that he received from his late father, musician Gregg Allman, seized by his estranged wife, Marieangela King, over support payments, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Friday, October 3, King filed court docs accusing Elijah, 49, of not paying a dime since the court ordered him to pay $6,500 per month in spousal support, and another $10,000 to cover her legal fees.

In a declaration, King said, “On September 21, 2025, shortly after [Elijah] was initially served with the court’s orders, I spoke with him over the phone. He said he was aware of the court ruling and would deal with the spousal support and fees. I have not received any payments from [Elijah]. To my knowledge, he is staying at an expensive hotel and ignoring his obligations.”

King said Elijah receives regular payments from Gregg’s estate as part of his inheritance.

In her filing, King said a man named Michael Lehman was appointed as executor of Gregg’s estate after he died in 2017 at the age of 69. Lehman is in charge of handling Elijah’s finances.

King asked the court to order Lehman to pay Elijah’s monthly spousal support payments and back support owed. King alleges Elijah owes over $16,000 in back support as of September 15.

Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman, is fighting back amid his conservatorship battle with his mother. Allman stated that in addition to not needing one, he also believes his mother is “unfit to […]

The support request came after Elijah was hospitalized in June for an alleged overdose in Joshua Tree, California. He was released days later. Elijah has yet to speak out about the incident.

The alleged overdose came months after singer Cher, 79, dropped her request to place her son in a court-ordered conservatorship. In her initial petition, Cher’s lawyer wrote, “Elijah is entitled to regular distributions from a trust established by his father for his benefit, but given his ongoing mental health and substance abuse issues, [Cher] is concerned that any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah’s life at risk.”
