Young and the Restless: Nikki’s Ultimatum Infuriates Victor – Explosive Newman Family Clash Ahead!

Young and the Restless explodes as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) furious with her husband, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), for his recent attacks on Jabot. At first, Nikki didn’t want to believe what Victor was doing.

And we all know Nikki buries her head in the sand, and she enables Victor time and again. But this time, Nikki says she can’t stand by and do nothing. She thinks Victor’s actions are unforgivable. I think Nikki may be stunned when Victor claps back at her ultimatum and rages at her for being disloyal to him.

Young and the Restless: Nikki Shocks Jack

This week, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Nikki he suspected that she’s the one who told Victor about his plan to shut down Jabot’s servers to protect his company from Victor and the AI. Not only was Nikki hurt that Jack thought that, but she kind of was still also doubting that Victor has done what Jack said.

But then Nikki did admit that she overheard Victor talking to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and that they were discussing they had found out Jack was shutting down Jabot and they needed to pivot and come up with a new plan. And Jack was upset and can’t believe that Nikki didn’t warn him.

Jack said if he had known that Victor knew the plan, then Jack could have gotten out in front of it. He told Nikki that could have made all the difference. So, she did apologize to Jack, but we also know she always gives Victor the benefit of the doubt way beyond what is reasonable. Plus, he lies right to Nikki’s face constantly, both by lies of omission and by actual outright lying.

Nikki and Claire Confront Victor’s Deception on Y&R

At the same time, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was telling Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) the same basic story that Victor was going to target Jabot with the AI and that’s why they took the company offline for a while. Claire was skeptical that Victor would be so awful and then she blamed herself.

Then Nikki ran into Claire when they both turned up at the new ranch, both ready to confront Victor. Claire and Nikki kind of caught each other up on what they’d heard and they quickly realized, okay, everything that Kyle (and Jack told them is true.

Victor’s being horrible. Victor is ruining the Abbotts. He’s targeting Jabot. He’s doing illegal, unethical, immoral, terrible things. Claire feels really bad because she pushed Nikki back off the wagon and Jack nearly died trying to get Nikki to go to rehab, and it worked. Yet Victor keeps saying Jack tried to kill Nikki. Outright lie. He can forgive Claire, but he wants to blame Jack. Make that make sense.

This is also the same Victor who said that Nikki didn’t need to go to rehab after the vodka IV and who was keeping booze in the house when he knew Nikki was struggling and sneaking alcohol. Victor was enabling her fall off the wagon. It was terrible husband behavior.

Nikki Newman’s Shocking Ultimatum to Victor on Young and the Restless

Claire got reassurance from Nikki and said nobody blames her. And then Nikki told Claire that she has stood by Victor for years and let him get away with grimy and awful things that he’s done over and over. But this time, Nikki says she’s had enough.

She hates that Victor is going after Jack and the Abbotts, and lives will be ruined. Not just the Abbotts. All the Jabot employees might lose their jobs right at the holidays. Plus, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), their granddaughter, is set to be hurt by this.

So, Nikki told Claire that she can’t and won’t stand by and let Victor get away with this. Nikki said she might never be able to forgive Victor for it. Not only that, but Nikki told Claire that if Victor makes Jack lose Jabot, Nikki is going to make Victor lose something he loves, and it will be her.

Will Nikki Follow Through?

While it’s great to see Nikki saying all this, I don’t know if things are going to go exactly like she’s saying. First of all, Nikki may wimp out even though she’s talking big about being done enabling Victor and that she’s ready to call him out for his actions. That’s big talk while chatting with Claire.

But when faced with Victor, I don’t know if she’s going to stay that strong. Second, Nikki might approach Victor with the whole thing and the accusations, and he does as usual and tells Nikki, “I’m not talking to you about this.” And Victor may say what he always does.

It’s nothing for you to worry about. It’s none of your business. Don’t get in my business. And tells Nikki, you know, go do Christmas shopping and have lunch. And just dismisses her and walks away and just ignores her attempts to confront him. That would be a typical Victor thing as well.

Y&R Spoilers: Victor’s Fury and a Holiday Ceasefire

But the third option, what I think is most likely, is that Victor may flip this around on Nikki. She’s saying that she’s going to tell Victor she’s going to leave him if he does this. And official Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack causes marriage problems between Nikki and Victor. And those problems are caused by what he said. I don’t think he’s going to go over there and physically get in between them. We’ll see.

The spoilers are obviously about this coming Nikki versus Victor confrontation this week. If Nikki tells Victor that he’s going to lose her if Jack loses Jabot, I can see Victor exploding because anytime Nikki defends Jack, Victor always goes nuts and then he rages about Nikki choosing Jack over him and betraying him. He’ll say things like, “Why do you give a damn about him?”

Nikki Stuck Between Victor & Jack

More than once, Victor has chewed Nikki out and demanded to know why she’s disloyal, why she is choosing her ex-husband Jack over him. Wouldn’t be the first time that Victor’s laid into Nikki for having concerns about Jack and Victor’s ongoing vendetta. But then, get this, Young and the Restless spoilers for Christmas Eve say that Victor and Nikki are reminded of the true meaning of Christmas and they’re looking cuddly.

So maybe Nikki and Victor either quickly resolve this or Nikki and Victor hit pause on the drama till after Christmas. Or this spoiler could mean that Nikki wusses out and plays nice with Victor and puts her head back in the sand and just hangs Jack out to dry.

Will Victor Call Nikki’s Bluff or Will Phyllis Intervene?

Another alternative is Victor hits his wife with his own ultimatum. And of course, Nikki loves Victor. She doesn’t want to end their marriage, but I think Nikki hopes she can scare Victor into stopping the vendetta. But Victor is stubborn, and I think he’ll get angry that Nikki would threaten their marriage.

So, if she gives him that ultimatum, Victor might say, “Go pack a bag. I’ll reserve you a room at the GCAC if you want to threaten me like that.” He might call Nikki’s bluff. I don’t think Victor and Nikki’s marriage is going to end, but they may hit a rough patch. Victor is doing unethical and illegal things.

Victor Loses His Leverage on Young and the Restless?

Nikki also may not have to threaten Victor in the end or may not have to push it that far because he might lose the AI. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) asked Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to steal it back from Victor and she’s really, really mad at Victor.

And if she does, it’s kind of a non-issue other than Victor being upset that Nikki would dare slap him with an ultimatum. Maybe there’s a chance Victor takes a long hard look at himself and rethinks his actions. Nah, I’m kidding. That’ll never happen.

He always thinks he’s right. The only way Nikki can stop him really is if somebody finds the AI now. And I don’t even know if that’s Nikki stopping it unless she’s the one who can find it and delete it.

Otherwise, somebody else is going to have to find a way to stop him. As long as Victor has that ultimate weapon, Jack and Jabot will never be safe no matter what threats that Nikki makes. And her making this threat might actually amp Victor up even more.
