Kylie Kelce had one very important question about Travis Kelce‘s relationship with Taylor Swift during the annual holiday episode of “New Heights.”
Kylie, 33, joined husband Jason Kelce and his brother on the Wednesday, December 24, episode to close out the podcast’s massive year with a festive flair. It didn’t take long for Jason, 38, to mention that his wife was “dethroned by Travis’ better half” as the show’s most-watched episode, but Kylie was unfazed.
“I’m always cheering on Taylor and everything that she does, so the fact that I finally got dethroned, it was welcome,” Kylie teased as Travis, 36, quipped, “Shout-out to Tay.”
Travis later wondered how quickly Kylie hears about the “stupid s***” he and Jason do on their podcast. Kylie revealed that she’s served “New Heights” content “every night on my doom scroll” before asking about a viral moment from their recent George Clooney interview.
“I do want to set the record straight — you don’t have to keep this in the show,” Kylie said. “When you said that you don’t fight, you were joking, right? Like, you were being sarcastic? The giggle afterward suggested that you were being sarcastic.”
Earlier this month, Travis asked Clooney, 64, if it was true that he and wife Amal don’t argue in their marriage. Clooney insisted he wasn’t lying, prompting Travis to say that he and Swift, 36, have “never once” argued in nearly three years together.

When Kyllie brought up the viral clip on Wednesday, Travis playfully brushed it off. “Defensive guys? Yeah, I fight. I’m a fighter in that sense of it,” he joked. “But me and Tay, we definitely don’t fight.”
While Kylie has been a fan-favorite guest since “New Heights” began, Swift made her first appearance on the show earlier this year. In August — weeks before Travis and the pop star announced their engagement — Swift used the podcast to unveil her album The Life of a Showgirl and reflect on life after the Eras Tour, as well as share details from the early days of her relationship with Travis.
Swift also opened up about her first time meeting Jason and Kylie when the Kansas City Chiefs played the Buffalo Bills in early 2024.
“Did you know I was told to be on my best behavior?” Jason asked Swift, who replied, “I didn’t know what you were told. I did know that one of the first things I saw you say to Kylie [was], ‘I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the fire tables.’ … She goes, ‘OK. Can we not do that right now?’”
Swift continued, “Since then, I’ve heard her say that exact thing to your 4-year-old. I meet you, you’re exactly as I thought you would be. Kylie is exactly as I thought she would be. The realest. The smartest, the coolest. You’re fantastic.”
The singer’s praise, however, wasn’t what stood out to Kylie the most from the episode. On her own “Not Gonna Lie” podcast in August, Kylie celebrated one particular quote from when Swift shut down critics of her NFL appearances.
“I think we all know that if there’s one thing male sports fans wanna see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me,” Swift teased, which Kylie referred to as “one of the most badass things ever said” on her husband’s show.
Swift was frequently mentioned on “New Heights” before officially sitting down as a guest on the show, but Kylie has taken a less direct approach on her own podcast. Earlier this month, fans got a glimpse of how Swift is bonding with Kylie and Jason’s daughters when the family attended the Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers game on December 14.
“The girls had not yet seen Uncle Trav play in Arrowhead Stadium. … It was also super exciting to get to see friends and family that were there, because the girls were so excited to get to watch a game with all of them,” Kylie said on “Not Gonna Lie” after the game. “They are not that interested in football, to be quite honest with you. They actually yell at us any time we try to put football on the TV and only get on board after a little while of realizing that they can freely yell.”
Fans will have to wait to see if Swift or any members of the Kelce family watch Travis and the Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas at 8:15 p.m. ET.
