General Hospital has some exciting, leaked info to share with you that ties into some expected deaths and one that’s not so expected. Funeral details and a mystery exit of someone that may depart dead or alive.
And as a reminder, these are not official spoilers. But gossip and rumor from a source whose leaks do have a high track record of accuracy. All right, let’s jump right in.
The first leak is an update from a prior leak that our source gave out that involves WSB Bureau Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). We shared the prior leak that said Chris McKenna was going to be exiting the ABC soap opera because his character was going to die. That leak indicated that Brennan would be killed off sometime this winter by the end of the year. But now the source has updated and says that Jack Brennan’s death got postponed until 2026.
General Hospital LEAK: Jack Brennan Done?
This may be because they decided to bring back James Patrick Stewart as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as part of Jack’s exit storyline. Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) is working with Valentin to take Jack down. And Carly is clearly done with Jack because of his lies and betrayal. It’s a big red flag, of course, that Jack doesn’t have a long-term future on General Hospital, the whole betrayal and irredeemable thing.
So, this is our leaker doubling down, saying that Chris McKenna’s character will be killed off. But pushing the death deadline out a little more. It makes sense because the walls are continuing to close in on Jack. If this leak manifests and he is killed off, I can’t wait to see how it plays out. I wonder if Valentin kills him or Carly or maybe Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) does it to save her mom. Valentin told Carly she’s being used, so if it comes down to it, Carly might take out the trash, and it all looks like it’s going to be very soapy and interesting.
General Hospital to Address Tragic Real-Life Actor Deaths On-Screen
All right, the next part of the leak is about some real-life actor deaths that still need to be addressed on the soap opera. It always happens that an actor passes and General Hospital can’t just immediately write it into the storylines. They have their stuff charted out for like six months or so at a time. So just for instance, Jackie Zeman died in May 2023. But it was January 2024 when her character Bobbie Spencer died offscreen. So that was what, like 7 months. Leslie Charleson passed away in January 2025 and Monica Quartermaine passed in September 2025, so nine months. The gap can be lengthy.
You may know that Denise Alexander passed away in March of 2025. She played Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) mom, Lesley Webber. So, of course, we need a tribute to Denise Alexander. And obviously, they need to address the death of Lesley and have Laura grieving and all of that. The leaker said Lesley Webber’s (Denise Alexander) death won’t happen on General Hospital until spring of 2026, making it about a year after Denise Alexander’s real-life death at age 85 from natural causes. But of course, Lesley’s death has to happen offscreen. And it’s one more tragedy for Laura, who’s already dealing with so much.
General Hospital: A Tribue to Tristan Rogers
General Hospital also has to address the tragic death of Tristan Rogers. That happened back in August 2025. We last saw Robert Scorpio in just a couple of episodes right before he passed. That was when his daughter Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) left Port Charles and relocated to Europe to be with him and her mom, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). At the time I noticed, you probably noticed a lot of fans commented on Soap social media that Tristan Rogers looked really thin and frail. He didn’t look healthy.
And as it turns out, the General Hospital legend was fighting end-stage lung cancer despite him never having been a smoker. So, right after his final appearance as Robert on GH in July 2025, Tristan Rogers’ cancer diagnosis was publicly revealed and then he was gone within a month. It was so sad. Our leaker says that Robert’s death is also going to happen in spring of 2026.
Upcoming Funerals and Character Returns: Robert Scorpio and Leslie Webber Memorials
So, those are the three deaths that I mentioned in the headline of this video. Jack Brennan, Robert Scorpio, and Lesley Webber. And the two funerals that we’ll be getting in 2026 are Robert’s and Lesley’s. I don’t think we’re gonna get one for Jack. I would be stunned if the conniving WSB chief gets any sort of memorial, especially since other major characters have gotten off-screen funerals. The leaker also said they’re holding off on Robert’s funeral until General Hospital can schedule appearances by Holly Sutton and Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough).
Emma Samms has been sick. She’s been dealing with some health issues. And Kimberly McCullough is busy behind the screen. She’s a director and a producer. She doesn’t really act anymore. So, it’d be absolutely wonderful to see Robin and Holly back. But really sad for the reason that we get them both back. I’m also assuming that they’ll bring back Sofia Mattsson as Sasha for Robert’s funeral, maybe with baby Daisy in tow. And hopefully we’ll find out if Sasha and Robin have met and are now close and bonded as sisters.
Mystery Female Character Exit: Who is Leaving Port Charles?
All right, the next part of the leak is about an exit for a female character. There’s no word if GH is going to kill them off or recast the role or not. It sounds more like an exit than a death. I don’t think it’s going to be a major character, although you never know. I suspect this female exit might be somebody more expendable and not a series regular.
It could be, for instance, Jacinda Bracken, although I hope not because I’m really liking her with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and a lot of fans are vibing with them. It could be Lisa LoCicero as Olivia Falconeri. But I doubt that they would even announce that because she’s basically on recurring and rarely seen already.
Another thought is the female exit might be DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), which I would be okay with because she is trying to put Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away and nobody wants him to keep chasing after another district attorney or a female cop or something. And of course, there is a chance the exit could be a major character. But I hope not. Fans would riot if they tried to, for instance, exit Becky Herbst as Elizabeth Webber, even though she gets minimal screen time at this point and is basically only used to prop other characters.
Nurses Ball 2026 Confirmed & Behind-the-Scenes Storyline Details
All right, another little tidbit from the leaker is that we are definitely getting a Nurses’ Ball in May of 2026. I was hoping we would. I mean, we had one in 2025. But there’s not a guarantee, because they skipped it in 2024, even though they had one in 2023 after a pause in the event for COVID. So, that’s good to know. I’m sure Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will have her fabulous ball gowns ready. Plus, as a matter of interest, Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) kidnapping was written in to cover a much-needed break for Finola Hughes. She usually takes off a few weeks in the summer. But this time it was the fall.
A Special Tribute to Anthony Geary: GH Airs Classic Luke Spencer Episode
One last note, you know by now that ex-GH actor Anthony Geary passed away recently from complications of a planned surgery. But his character Luke Spencer died a while back at the hands of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). But as a tribute to Tony Geary on New Year’s Day, GH is airing a rerun of the last episode he did as Luke. This was back when Tony Geary retired in 2015. I’m not talking about the episode in 2017 when he was back for about 60 seconds for Jane Elliot’s retirement. But did not say one word.
