Stassi Schroeder is back in front of the cameras and has Katie Maloney by her side.
Schroeder, 37, was seen filming at West Hollywood’s The Belmont on Saturday, November 1, with former Vanderpump Rules castmate Maloney, 38, per TMZ.
The outlet reported that Schroeder is officially in production of Stassi Says. Us Weekly reached out to Schroeder’s reps for comment.
Deadline reported in 2024 that Stassi Says will be a half-hour docu-comedy series, streaming on Hulu.
“Endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical, and questionably sane, Stassi is the anchor of a fresh ensemble of comedic and chaotic characters who are dealing with identity crises and major life crossroads of their own — and Stassi’s the one who has to keep them all afloat,” the official logline read.
Schroeder rose to fame on Vanderpump Rules, which premiered on Bravo in 2013. Despite leaving the show after season 3 to move to New York City with then-boyfriend Patrick Meagher, Schroeder returned during season 4. Schroeder remained on the show until season 8, where she was fired after racially insensitive comments from her past came to light.
In her 2022 memoir, Off With My Head, Schroeder addressed the “huge” mistakes that led to her exit.
“Just imagine making a terrible mistake, but one that has nothing to do with how good you are at your job. And one that doesn’t truly reflect who you are,” Schroeder wrote. “You’re told to stay quiet. You’re already ashamed of the mistake you made. You already want to fix it. But on top of that, every single person you know or have ever met knows about this mistake.”
She went on to appear in season 2 of Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa, which premiered earlier this year, set at Lisa Vanderpump’s French villa, Château Rosabelle. Schroeder and Maloney, meanwhile, have shut down rumors of a feud in recent years.
“OK, somebody said, ‘Are you and Stassi still close?’” Kaitlyn Bristowe asked Maloney while reading fan questions during a 2024 episode of the “Off the Vine” podcast.
Maloney replied, “Yeah, I mean, Stassi, OK, she’s got two kids now. While I wish we spent more time together — I think you’re in a similar position where it’s like, you’re friends that have kids — so I think, you know, maybe once life balances out a little bit, we can spend some time together.”
In Maloney’s perspective, she and Schroeder have “very different things going on,” but is “really happy” when the pair get to spend time together. (Schroeder tied the knot with husband Beau Clark in 2020. The couple welcomed daughter Hartford and son Messer in 2021 and 2023, respectively.)
Days before the interview, Schroeder denied that the pair were no longer friends amid Maloney’s feud with Vanderpump Rules castmate Lala Kent.
“I need to step in here,” Schroeder wrote in the comment section of a TikTok video at the time. “I’m not on Vanderpump Rules. I’m not on any team. That’s not my life anymore. I have individual friendships with people. Friendships ebb & flow without it being nefarious.”
