Bold and the Beautiful has Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) very salty about being blackballed from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) wedding, and things are about to get worse. Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) family is not going to want Sheila around for holiday parties or any of that.
We’re going to talk about why Sheila may spiral soon and turn psycho again. And be sure to stick around till the end because I’ve got 12 days of psycho Sheila in the form of a Christmas carol for you.
Bold and the Beautiful: Deacon and Sheila Struggle
So, I do think Christmas is going to be hard on Deacon and Sheila’s marriage because Deacon will likely have plenty of invites to spend time with family, with, you know, Hope, with Dee, possibly with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and the extended family, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and the extended family. And, you know, Sheila is not welcome anywhere or by anybody. Hope already told Deacon that Sheila couldn’t come to the wedding and said that was the request of little Beth, her wedding planner.
So, if Sheila wasn’t invited to Hope and Liam’s wedding, I think it’s pretty safe to say Sheila isn’t welcome at Hope and Liam’s for Christmas or New Year’s or at Brooke’s estate where the family is probably going to gather. And I’m sure Dee is not going to invite Sheila to come as Deacon’s plus one when he invites his dad to hang out at the holidays with him and Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann). Really, there’s nowhere that Sheila is welcome for any holiday gatherings this year.
Deacon’s Redemption vs. Sheila’s Isolation This Holiday Season
What’s funny is a year ago, Christmas 2024, Deacon was kind of on the naughty list with most people. And of course, Hope loves her dad, but him being close to Sheila had him getting a lot of side-eye, and a lot of people didn’t trust him. It was guilt by association. But over the span of 2025, Deacon has solidified his place in people’s lives, and a lot of people have warmed up to him and accepted him as redeemed.
Brooke had tolerated Deacon because he’s Hope father, but you know, she was still kind of cautious about him, especially because Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was always in her ear where Deacon was concerned. But Brooke has accepted Deacon 100%. She was cool with being at the wedding with him side by side as Hope parents for her big day. So Christmas 2024 had Deacon’s mailbox low on holiday invites and greeting cards, but now it has just all changed for him.
Dollar Bill and Deacon are in a good place as in-laws now that Hope and Liam are remarried. Bill even shared his good hooch with Deacon. They were bro-bonding. And we know that Bill absolutely despised Deacon for the longest time. You know how Bill gives everybody a mean nickname? He always called Deacon the con man. So the fact that Bill has changed his tune says a lot. And to be fair, Deacon has worked hard to truly reform and redeem himself and people have taken note.
Why Sheila Carter Remains an Unwelcome Guest
But Sheila remains persona non grata. Probably always will be. And to be honest, Deacon might have been accepted faster if he hadn’t married Psycho Sheila. Even Hope took a step back at first and didn’t want to let Deacon see Beth because he was with Sheila. And now Deacon’s wife is back to being a pariah because she helped Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) hide Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). And Sheila didn’t tell anybody that Luna was alive, which led to Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) being sexually assaulted by her awful, awful granddaughter. So any ground Sheila gained by saving Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam from Luna went out the window.
And once Deacon starts getting holiday invitations to dinners and parties and Sheila finds out she can’t go, I think she’s going to start spiraling. She’s already upset. She feels like Deacon’s family will never accept her. And I think those feelings are going to intensify over the Christmas season when everybody’s with family. Sheila is going to be hurt. And I think the hurt’s going to turn to anger, and then I expect her to lash out.

Bold and the Beautiful:
But at the same time, I mean, it’s easy to see why nobody wants Sheila around. She shot Steffy and Brooke and Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and has committed countless crimes against all these families that Deacon is intertwined with. And while he doesn’t want Sheila to feel hurt, at the same time, you know, Deacon’s not going to miss out on spending time at the holidays with his son Dee, his daughter Hope, his granddaughter Beth. Same reason he wasn’t going to stay away from that wedding. And even if that means leaving Sheila at home fuming on the couch, Deacon is going to be with his family on Bold and the Beautiful.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Sheila’s Jealousy of Taylor Hayes Could Ignite Psycho Behavior
So, as her anger simmers, as Sheila gets more upset, I’m sure Deacon’s going to go and share his frustrations and his concerns with Taylor Hayes and ask her advice and guidance. And remember, Sheila came to see Taylor about, you know, her wanting to be at the wedding. And Taylor said, “Don’t crash. That’s crazy.” And Sheila got really upset and was like, “Taylor, do you think I’m crazy?” Yeah. I mean, obviously, she’s a nutter.
And I can also see Sheila begin to resent the time that Deacon is spending with Taylor in therapy. Sheila might go back to stalking Deacon, following him to his therapy appointments, and see how, you know, intimate in terms of just really being open with each other and casual and close that he and Taylor have become. Sheila might decide Taylor’s her competition. Even worse, Sheila knows that Taylor would be welcome on Deacon’s arm anywhere by anybody in the family.
Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila Snaps?
And so all this is going to snowball this winter, no pun intended. And I do suspect Sheila may snap by the new year and her villain switch may flip back on because she’s going to feel rejected. She’s going to be spending time at home alone. She’s gonna see Taylor getting more time with Deacon because he’s gonna be dealing with the Sheila drama and need his therapist, you know, and he’s going to be enjoying Christmas with his family.
So Sheila may threaten Taylor. If she does, Deacon would be furious with her. I don’t think Sheila’s going to stop, though. I think she is going to feel Deacon slipping away ’cause he’s not going to be kept from his family, and Sheila is not going to be accepted by his family.
And Deacon’s the only person Sheila has. So I can absolutely see her going full-blown villain again, especially if she thinks that she is losing Deacon. And let’s be real, it feels like only a matter of time until Sheila does lose Deacon. I fully expect him to wind up with Taylor, at least for a while. And I think Sheila may lose it and start terrorizing people again.
I know people are torn. Some people like Sheila and they I’ve seen comments here and on soap social media that they’re thinking that it’s rude that Sheila is excluded since she is Deacon’s wife, which I think is is crazy. It’s not like they dislike her for no reason. She’s flat-out dangerous and psycho. So, we’ll see.
