Carly Rae Jepsen’s party for one has turned into a party for three, as the singer is expecting her first baby with husband Cole M.G.N.
“Oh hi baby,” Jepsen, 39, captioned a carousel of black and white photos that showed the couple sitting on their bed. The “Call Me Maybe” singer sported slippers and a pajama set with several of the buttons open to reveal her pregnant belly. Cole (real name Cole Marsden Greif-Neill) wore a T-shirt, jeans and sneakers as he sat beside his wife and gently touched her stomach.
The record producer commented three heart-eye emojis on Jepsen’s post. Meanwhile, friends and fans offered their congratulations to the expecting couple.
“MANY BLESSINGS TO YOUR FAMILY ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” one user wrote, while another fan added, “Congrats mama!!”
“My purest joy and happiness for you three! All of my congrats and love!! 🥹💜✨,” a third person commented.
The pregnancy announcement comes one month after Jepsen and Cole tied the knot at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City on October 4.
“We knew we wanted a location that meant something to us, and the Chelsea Hotel had become a home away from home every time we were in New York,” the couple told Vogue. “As artists, its iconic history and lore made it that much more appealing. For planning, we had weekly dates to talk out all the details of the wedding. This way it was only ever fun and not too much at once.”
Jepsen factored in her family planning with Cole when choosing her dresses for the wedding — a strapless corseted dress with a draped skirt from Australian designer Toni Maticevski for the ceremony and a tiered dress from Danielle Frankel in New York City for the reception.

“We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing,” Jepsen explained.
Jepsen and Cole were both surprised that neither of them cried during the ceremony.
“We were expecting to,” Jepsen recalled. “But the energy was just light and joyful. Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream. Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else.
Looking back on their wedding day a few weeks later, Jepsen told the outlet, “Often in life we’ll imagine things, and even though the reality can be good, it’s never quite as good. This day felt like the exception. It was better than either one of our wildest dreams. We felt connected through the whole thing, which was really important to us. In fact, we even had a few special songs planted in the DJ’s setlist so that, no matter where we were at the moment, when we heard those songs, we would come find each other.”
Jepsen, who met Cole during a songwriting session in May 2021 and began dating the musician in 2022, shared several photos from their special day via Instagram on October 24.
“Husband. That feels good to say. ❤️,” she captioned the post. “New York City ~ Oct. 4th. Favorite day of my life.”
