Days of our Lives: Kristen Viciously Attacks Peter – Bloody Crypt Brawl Ends in Injury?

Days of Our Lives sees Peter Blake (Jason Brooks) played dirty this week with his sister Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and his brothers Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and also his nephew Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews).

As we leaked here a while back, yep, Peter is the kidnapper who threw them into the family crypt. And after EJ was taken Then Peter faked his own kidnapping. It looks like there’s a life and death struggle this week. And Kristen may gravely injure her big brother.

We’ve got lots of DiMera drama brewing in the burial chamber this week. Such as Peter facing off with Chad, Tony, EJ, Theo, and Kristen. And now, let’s dig into this grave drama. No pun intended. So, Tony and EJ were stunned when they walked in and saw Chad, Theo, and Kristen talking with Peter, the newest addition to the crypt crew.

And from the jump, Tony was skeptical. He was kind of stunned, kind of baffled that the kidnapper took the time to track Peter down when he’s been off the radar for what, more than a decade.

Tensions Rise as Peter Tries to Frame EJ in the Crypt on Days of Our Lives

And then focus shifted. Because a very feverish Kristen wouldn’t stop digging, trying to escape. She exhausted herself. Her temperature spiked. And then EJ was worried and was offering to make Kristen a cold compress with bottled water and a scrap of fabric. But then Peter freaked out on him and he put EJ on blast and started accusing him of being the one who had kidnapped all of them.

And I mean, let’s be real, Peter did raise valid points about EJ double-crossing pretty much all of them. Peter really tried to rile up Chad, bringing up EJ’s past affair with Abigail Deveraux (AnnaLynne McCord). And of course, that’s when we found out that Chad has never forgiven him, which I get it. But he’s also not holding it against him on a day-to-day basis.

But Tony said, “We need to stop this. We need to stick together.” But in typical villain monologue style, Peter kept prattling on and on about EJ’s similarities to their wicked father, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). But then Kristen had kind of an aha moment about Peter’s past behavior and how he blames everyone for everything and just lashes out.

Kristen and Theo Unmask Peter as the True Kidnapper on DOOL

And that kind of started Theo thinking. Then Kristen and Theo from there figured out pretty quickly that yeah, Peter Blake was the one who drugged them, hijacked them from their lives. And shoved them into the DiMera Mausoleum with wicked, possibly fatal intentions for all of them, not just EJ.

So, they also realized Peter was pitting them against each other to try and distract because he showed up out of nowhere and then was dredging up these old grievances, trying to throw suspicion on EJ as the kidnapping culprit. But then Theo lost his temper and demanded that his uncle Peter empty his pockets.

Because one by one as they were dumped into the crypt, they all searched to see if they had anything left on them. No cell phones, no weapons, no nothing. Tony, Theo, Kristen, EJ, and Chad. None of them had anything on them when they were dumped in there.

Confrontation Turns Violent: Theo Gravely Injured

So, Peter tried to get out of it. But then Tony and EJ were threatening that if Peter didn’t turn out his pockets, they would force him. And then Theo charged at him. And then Peter just reacted and flung Theo down to the floor. When Peter did that, Theo hit his head on an urn.

And then last we saw he’s unconscious and bleeding from a head wound. So needless to say, things are not looking good for the Crypt crew. We’ve got injured Theo. We’ve got very sick Kristen and we got Tony who’s not a spring chicken. And then we got Chad and EJ who are younger and healthy.

A Deadly Threat Emerges: Peter Wields Sarin Gas

And then Peter finally admitted, “Yeah, I did this.” And then he threatened them with a vial of sarin gas. If you don’t know, that’s real-life stuff and it’s nasty. So he showed Kristen, Tony, Chad, and EJ the vial and then he threatened to use it on them. Sarin is this highly toxic man-made chemical. I believe it’s illegal to use in war. But that’s what it was developed for. It’s a nerve gas and even a little bit of it can kill you.

Even a tiny drop will cause respiratory distress and then the symptoms just get worse the longer the exposure goes on and the worse the exposure is. And Peter has a vial of it. That’s enough to kill them all. I don’t know how he thinks he’ll escape the fate since they’re in a room all locked in together. But Peter seems ready to use it on them.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Who Survives the Crypt?

So this week in Days of Our Lives spoilers, we know there’s a life or death struggle in the crypt. And with the injury to Theo and Kristen’s infection advancing, that’s bad enough. And then Tony, EJ, and Chad have to worry about being nerve-gassed to death. So, also all of them are weak and exhausted by being stuck in captivity, not being able to sleep, not having proper food. It’s cold.

But we know that by Christmas, EJ’s back with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), reunited. Tony’s home safe. Chad’s reunited with his kids. But there are going to be some serious injuries, grave injuries if you like a pun, that come from this Peter plot. So, I suspect Theo is going to spend his holidays in the hospital fighting. Because he may have a traumatic brain injury, or maybe there’s some kind of exposure to what’s in Peter’s wicked little vial.

Theo’s in the hospital looking rough with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) at his side praying for his recovery. We don’t know the extent, if it’s just the head injury or something more. And Kristen winds up in University Hospital getting treated for her raging infection and she stops by to see Peter who has also been admitted to University Hospital. So, Kristen’s asking Peter to forgive her. But he’s screaming at Kristen to get out. So seems like Peter feels deeply betrayed by his sister on Days of our Lives.

Will Kristen Be the Unlikely Hero Against Her Brother?

And Kristen, she may be suffering an infection in her wounded hand. But I still think she might find the strength to overcome Peter as part of this life and death struggle in the crypt. In fact, Kristen might be the one person who can get close enough to do something. Because she’s infected and she’s weak. Peter may not see Kristen as much of a threat compared to like EJ and Chad, you know. Because they are big and strong.

Kristen has already proved she’d do anything to get back to Rachel Black (Alice Halsey). So Kristen may fight Peter for that vial of Sarin. And Kristen may either use it on her brother or she and Peter may struggle for it and he falls down and Kristen wrestles with her brother and he winds up crushing the tube and Peter breathes it in and gets exposed to the toxin.

So, it could be Kristen’s fault technically that Peter is infected and facing death from Sarin. Then again, if he is exposed, that’s nobody’s fault but his own for having a tube of that nasty stuff. And if Peter is exposed, he could go into respiratory failure. He could have convulsions. And unless Kristen’s brother gets timely treatment for the sarin exposure, he could die a horrible death.

Questioning Peter’s Ultimate Motive and Endgame on Days of Our Lives

So, we don’t know if he gets exposed. But he might. I mean, they showed it off for a reason, so maybe. Peter was really annoyed when Kristen said he always blamed others when things didn’t work out for him. So, I don’t know exactly what Peter’s endgame is. Because he wouldn’t just have to kill EJ, Chad, Kristen, Theo, and Tony. He’d also have to kill Chad, Kristen, and EJ’s kids to inherit everything. So, I hope they make it make sense.
