General Hospital spoilers for December 29 – Jan 2, 2025 see Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) exposed and Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) ranting.
As we always do on early edition day, we’re going to talk about what’s coming the rest of this week and then get into what is coming next week.
General Hospital Spoilers: Things are Looking Up for Willow
So on Wednesday, December 24th, Christmas Eve, we have Christmas Eve also happening in Port Charles. Our calendars are in sync this year. So Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial is on hold until 2026, which is good because that’s going to give Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) time to find some proof that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was indeed outside Drew house the night he was shot.
As the note said, Martin Gray’s (Michael E Knight) trying to fly under the radar while getting some payback on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are together and counting their blessings. They have Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) back alive and in their lives.
And Nina got Willow Tait’s camera footage deleted. Even though Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) testimony backfired in court, things are looking a little better. And Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) testimony, I do think, helped in a big way. Even though DA Turner tried to dismiss it, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) feels the need to make things right. And I wonder if this is with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
GH Spoilers: Trina is Distraught
Trina is on fire and absolutely furious at Portia for sleeping with Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), even though she and Curtis were definitely done. Trina didn’t know it, but Curtis and Portia know it. And everybody, of course, is calling her a liar. But I’m kind of on Portia’s side with this cuz Curtis had been emotionally cheating with Jordan for a good long while.
Portia asks somebody if she’s kidding herself and this may be a carryover of her conversation with Ava Jerome (Maura West) after the disastrous testimony in court. But Portia also needs to run and warn Isaiah that Curtis knows about them. And I wonder if him reading Portia for filth is going to tempt her to tamper with the DNA test to make sure that is Isaiah’s baby and Curtis is out of her life.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Leans on Sonny
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gives Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) some fatherly advice. Sonny’s telling Dante he’s got to prove to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Frances Carr) that he’s there for him. And that means not being awful to Gio. But Dante’s having a bad day because of having to suspend Chase. So, hopefully he won’t bring that ill temper over to his dad’s house. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) calls and asks if they’re ready to pull the trigger on Britt.
And I wonder if he’s talking to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) or another WSB agent and if they’re going to try and scoop her up and interrogate her or something. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) suggests to Britt that they have a ceasefire. And of course, she’s not a big fan. She thinks Lucas broke Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) heart and Lucas thinks she’s the devil. So a truce is probably a good idea.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) panics over a package that’s delayed. Maybe it’s a gift for Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) or something for his sister Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) or his dad Mac Scorpio (John J. York) or little James West (Gary James Fuller). He’s got so much family now. It’s wonderful.
And Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) makes a risky decision. This could come after Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) sees Valentin in the house. And I wonder if Carly will lie about who he is. I mean, she can’t risk Donna repeating his real name. So she can’t say, “Oh, this is my friend Valentin.”
GH Holiday Schedule & Christmas Spoilers
Thursday, December 25th. It is Christmas Day, as you know, and General Hospital is preempted. No rerun, no new episode, no nothing as far as we’ve heard. Friday, December 26th, we pick back up with a brand new General Hospital, and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is throwing a holiday bash out at Wyndemere on Spoon Island. Marco Rios (Adrian Anchando) and Lucas are going to be there.
I wouldn’t put it past Sidwell to force Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) to attend. He may coerce some of the Deception gang to be there. I think it’d be interesting is if he’s got both Ava and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) there because he’s manipulating and romancing them both. And maybe Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will get some party leftovers since she is locked in the house. And it’s kind of interesting with a lot of people being at Wyndemere and Anna being trapped there.
Willow tries to change Drew’s mind, and I think Willow is going to press Drew to let Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) see Alexis and the rest of her family for Christmas. She was horrified when he talked to Alexis that way. Drew is just getting worse by the day. Somebody needs to reshoot him and make sure it sticks this time.
Jordan keeps a close eye out and it may be about the Portia and Isaiah reveal or it may be at Sidwell’s party. And Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) expresses gratitude. Obviously, he’s happy for Laura and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is out of her coma and all that good stuff.
New Year’s Reruns & Anthony Geary Tribute
Going into the week of December 29th through January 2nd, we have big stuff happening. The week ahead, we’re going to have two reruns. One’s going to be on New Year’s Day and one’s going to be on New Year’s Eve. So, on Wednesday, January 31st, it’s a random rerun. I’m not sure exactly what they’re going to show that day.
But on New Year’s Day, this is a big deal. General Hospital is re-airing Anthony Geary’s last full episode he did as Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) when the actor retired from the role back in 2015. So, this is a decade-old episode. I also expect a tribute to Tony at the end of the episode. And of course, he passed away unexpectedly on December 14th from complications of a planned surgery.
Kirsten Storms Health Update & Maxie Jones’ Return to GH
Alright, before we dive into next week’s spoilers, another quick update. This is about Kirsten Storms. She’s been off GH for a while. That’s why Maxie’s in the coma. Kirsten is dealing with some of her own health complications. She confirmed in October she had an aneurysm that needed surgery to prevent it from rupturing. And Kirsten did an update saying surgery may not be needed or at least not yet.
And she’s been offered the chance to take a wait-and-see approach. So, she’s debating that and teased that she may be back in Port Charles soon. We leaked her exit for personal reasons about a week before it was confirmed. And at the time, we also leaked her comeback is expected for 2026. That seems on track unless something gets worse with her health concerns.
Port Charles Drama Heats Up: Cassadine Schemes & Paternity Secrets on General Hospital
Alexis needs to subpoena a lot of security and store cam footage next week to find Michael outside Drew’s that night. With Chase suspended, maybe he has time to help her. I mean, in for a penny, in for a pound, because he is determined to save Willow and really is convinced that Dante is biased. A sweep of security cam footage might also end up revealing Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina were at Drew’s that night if Alexis finds it and not the PCPD. There’s always a chance Drew could use it to leverage Portia to not press charges on him.
Martin is still dealing with Tracy’s heirloom threats, but Martin may hope that Tracy will back off if she’s facing perjury and obstruction charges, which is why he sent Alexis that little note. Michael and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) spend time together over the holidays, and I wonder if Michael’s going to get his new girl, Jacinda, a fancy gift. They should enjoy it while they can because Jacinda may also be facing perjury charges.
Sidwell gets ready to put his new smuggling operation into effect using Deception ingredients as a cover. Brennan loses patience with Nina, but she’s not going to be very helpful anyway. Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) determined to save Britt, whether she likes it or not. I’d like to see Jason with Britt for New Year, but realistically, she’s probably going to be off getting drunk with Brad instead. Carly and Valentin have to deal with the twist of Donna walking in on him. And the moment of truth for Portia arrives soon. It’s time for her paternity test.
