General Hospital Twist: Tracy & Michael Arrested – Port Charles Shocker Rocks Quartermaines!

General Hospital gave somebody eavesdropping on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). With two more arrests coming this week, those two might actually be the ones in handcuffs.

We’re going to talk about a possible twist that may put Tracy and Michael behind bars soon. One charged with attempted murder and the other with obstruction and perjury.

General Hospital Twist: Martin in Trouble

This week, we had Tracy blackmailing Martin Gray (Michael E Knight), telling him he better find a way to get her family heirlooms back from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), or else. Tracy went back on her promise not to prosecute him and said she would absolutely turn Martin in for tampering with Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will.

It wouldn’t be the first time she put him behind bars. So Martin made the call and he tried to talk some sense to Drew, but Congressman Cutthroat refused and said he is equally entitled just as much as Tracy is to the Quartermaine heirlooms. Drew then demanded that Martin march right back in and tell Tracy a message from him.

A Mysterious Eavesdropper Overhears a Shocking Confession on GH

We know Martin was still on the Quartermaine estate, but we never saw him talking to Tracy again. Then we saw a mysterious person eavesdropping on Michael and Tracy. That’s when she was reminding Michael she saw him parked outside Drew’s house. That was right before Tracy went in and found Drew on the floor, shot twice, and bleeding out.

So Tracy laid out all that info. You know how they do on soap operas when somebody’s eavesdropping, they talk through all the details, right? She told Michael she had no problem perjuring herself on the stand to protect him. Tracy said, “Michael’s family,” and obviously she’ll do whatever she has to do.

Now, assuming it was Martin that heard all this, and I suspect it was, Michael and Tracy are in big, big trouble. Of course, it could have been someone else equally as problematic that overheard them. For instance, if it was Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), since he lives there, he wouldn’t sit on that info.

Chase is trying to exonerate Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and really suspects Michael did this. Either way, whoever overheard it, not a good thing. Since Drew sent Martin back to deliver a message, I think it looks more likely that it was the sketchy lawyer that overheard Michael and Tracy.

The Scramble for Evidence: Security Footage and Witness Tampering on General Hospital

From there, Martin would take that incriminating info that he overheard to somebody that can take action with it. My guess would be Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) since Drew wanted her and Martin to be co-counsel on Willow’s case. They are in communication. So, Martin may tell Alexis what he overheard, and then the cops can search for Michael in the security camera footage nearby Drew’s house. They haven’t found him yet, but we know that footage is out there.

Plus, we also know Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) promised Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that he would disappear the footage of Willow because Jack already owes Nina and he wants her help finding Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). So, even if DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) has some still shots from those videos, if she can’t produce the videos because Jack has scrubbed them, that’s going to be a big problem for the case. Nina did demand that Jack make sure that footage was permanently scrubbed, unrecoverable.

It seems likely that Jack’s going to make it happen because he is WSB. If he does as Nina asks, then the only footage the PCPD would wind up with is Nina at her apartment establishing her alibi, and then Michael and Tracy both right outside Drew’s house and Tracy going inside. Brennan told Nina there’s a little delay with deleting the footage, but I do suspect Jack’s going to find a way to make it happen.

Also, if Alexis needs him to, Martin can testify about what he overheard and Drew can testify that all of a sudden his memory came back and he recalls seeing Michael, a reflection in the mirror, something like that. Or he heard his voice, he spoke to him. He can say whatever he wants. We know Drew has no problem lying.

Boom, Tracy would be arrested for lying under oath and obstructing the investigation with her lies. Michael would be arrested for attempted murder. Of course, this would rile up a lot of General Hospital fans because everybody hates Drew. Nobody’s sad he got shot. They’re only sad that he survived. But we also know that Willow is likely to be exonerated because she didn’t do it. I doubt Michael did it either, but he may face some scrutiny soon, at least until General Hospital reveals the real shooter. I think he’s going to be on the bubble.

Unmasking the Real Shooter: Top Suspects in Drew’s Attack on General Hospital

As to who really put the bullets in Drew, I think Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is a very strong possibility because Drew is becoming problematic for the big plans Sidwell had. He may not have done it personally like he did with Hank Dalton (Daniel Goddard). He could have had Pascal (Mark Forget) do it for him. That guy is ruthless and murdery.

Another possible suspect that fans have wondered about is Drew’s daughter, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). He has neglected her. Drew has kept her from family and dismantled her once happy life ever since her mom Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died. Lots of people think that the angle Drew was shot at also points to somebody shorter, which she is. So, yeah, I could see Scout snapping and shooting her father Drew for ruining her life.

Another possible suspect who just resurfaced is Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). We recently found out Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) offered Selina Wu (Lydia Look) a million bucks to kill Drew. Selina said she has the guy for it. Of course, Curtis told Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that he changed his mind and decided not to go through with the assassination.

But Curtis might be lying to her. Or Selina might have decided to go ahead and do the hit and then circle back to Curtis and say, “Ah, I went ahead and took care of it for you anyway, and now you owe me a favor.” The fact that Selina said she had just the guy for the job makes me think it might have been Brad that she got to shoot Drew.

We know Selina has always wanted Brad neck-deep in her mob business. He’s not a hitman type, but Selina might have forced Brad’s hand. She’s done it before. She’s had him do dastardly things like poisoning Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and he was a jerk, too. So again, nobody would have missed him.

Building the Case: Why Michael Corinthos is the Prime Suspect

Right now, Michael’s feeling smug. Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) feeling smug. The thing is, there’s a lot of holes in the DA’s case. The weapon was found right after Michael was alone at Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) house and had access to Willow’s room there to plant the weapon. Plus, he knew that the PCPD were about to search the Quartermaines.

And while they had to go off to get that address straightened out, that weapon was moved and Michael was gone. So, all the timing points to him whether he did it or not, it doesn’t look good. The gun was from Michael’s great-grandfather’s gun collection. And again, it disappeared as far as the police know while they had to go fix that warrant. Michael had a lot more motive to kill Drew than Willow did.

The video footage of Willow is circumstantial. Her prints aren’t on the gun, and there is a heaping pile of reasonable doubt and alternative suspects. Michael, however, would be a much easier case for Justine to prosecute. If the cops get footage of him outside of Drew’s, then that means he was there and had the opportunity to kill. Michael was the person with easy access to the attempted murder weapon.

So, that gives him means and the motive is he hated Drew for stealing Willow. Motive, means, and opportunity. That’s how DA’s prove a case. I think she might stand a good chance at getting a conviction against Michael, but I still don’t think he really shot Drew. Wait to see who gets the cuff slapped on them, but I think there’s a good chance it could be Michael and Tracy.
