From comparing penis sizes to breaking down their butt transformations, no topic was off limits as Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie read the most sexually graphic Heated Rivalry reactions.
In an interview with Buzzfeed, the costars read the thirsty tweets about their Heated Rivalry characters, with Storrie, 25, saying, “There’s two sets of fans. There are people who love these characters and the journey they go through. Then there’s people who just want to get all saucy. We have seen some pretty intense stuff so it is going to take a lot to get through to us.”
Williams, 24, and Storrie started off strong by pretending to kiss. As they read some NSFW responses to their roles as Shane and Ilya, respectively, the actors had some questions. Storrie specifically was curious about a tweet that mentioned shrinking him down to “swallow” him.
“It’s a lot to swallow,” William quipped. “I would know.”

Soon enough the topic of Storrie’s “double cheeked up” butt was mentioned.
“It feels good [to be recognized for that]. I take care of my body,” he said. “I did not think that my but would get the response. I thought my acting or my charisma. Anything else but my butt.”
Later in the interview, Williams weighed in on his own appearance — including how it evolved while filming.
“My butt changes in the show. I wasn’t really working out too hard when I came into the show so the first scene, I wasn’t as fit as the rest of the show,” he recalled. “I gained nine pounds of clappable material. Later on, there is more meat for Ilya to rock. He does. I am glad to be double cheeked up on whatever day of the week that was.”
The unhinged behavior didn’t stop there. At one point, an offscreen producer had to interject to explain to the duo the omega verse, which is a popular subgenre of erotic fanfiction involving different hierarchies of dominant and submissive wolves.
“I like the animal thing. I wanted to get a little bit of a hungry coyote [in episode 2],” Williams mentioned. “[Shane] just wanted to hump and he was in heat. He just wanted to whimper away. He’s a little horny mutt.”
He continued: “[He is] just happy to be under the alpha getting railed. I have never seen myself happier. There is a point past happiness where you are just happy your world is getting rocked upside down.”
Despite the NSFW content, Williams made it clear he was proud of the work he put into the show, adding, “Play this on the plane, in a parking lot, in a grocery store, put it on a TV and roll it around town. I want this to be shown everywhere. Put my ass getting clapped.”
Storrie, meanwhile, was curious what people who haven’t seen the show would think based on promotional content.
“I can only imagine what people who haven’t seen the show think goes on besides the sex,” he quipped. “Where is the love? Why is it about butts getting destroyed and holes getting ruined? What about the caresses?”
Based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series, Heated Rivalry follows two rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie), whose animosity on the ice is just a front for a secret — and very passionate — romance.
“We have a [poster] of us on Sunset Boulevard of us in the shower. If that isn’t Shane’s hole by the end of the week — even if they greenlight season 2 — guess who isn’t coming back,” Williams joked in an interview conducted before the series was officially renewed.
Williams also expressed his season 2 hopes — starting with more slapping. “If season 2 happens, I am going to be red everywhere because he is just going to slap me and won’t stop,” he added.
The actor took a break from his more graphic responses to shed some light on Shane’s characterization. After a fan tweet questioned whether Shane is meant to be neurodivergent, Williams explained, “Shane is on the spectrum. Maybe you should get yourself someone who has a touch of the spectrum on him. … I incorporated my dad into it so he’s single. Maybe you should date him.”
Buzzfeed ended the segment by showing the pair a meme of different carrot sizes, which were labeled based on who fans thought had the largest penis size. Storrie laughed off Ilya coming out on top with nine inches while Williams took offense with Shane ending up on the smaller side.
“It’s the motion of the ocean,” he replied.
