NASCAR driver Greg Biffle never officially retired, but he has spent the better part of the last decade with his family instead of on the track, getting behind the wheel only periodically — and with his wife, Cristina Biffle (née Grossu), usually in the stands.
Since transitioning into semi-retirement, he has spent plenty of quality time with Cristina, whom he married in 2022. The two have made their share of public appearances together over the years, but it appears most of their time has been spent out of the spotlight, often on beach vacations and shared only via social media updates.
Cristina is Greg’s second wife. He was married to Nicole Lunders from 2007 until 2016, and they share one daughter, Elizabeth, born in 2011. He and Cristina have been together since shortly after his separation from Nicole, and they got engaged during a 2021 trip to the Bahamas.
On Thursday, December 18, a plane belonging to Greg crashed while trying to land at an airport in North Carolina. A family friend reported that Greg, Cristina, their son Ryder and Emma were all on board.

“Unfortunately, I can confirm Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, daughter Emma and son Ryder were on that plane…because they were on their way to spend the afternoon with us,” Garrett Mitchell wrote via Facebook. “We are devastated. I’m so sorry to share this.”

The couple welcomed Ryder on September 9, 2020, Greg announced via X alongside a photo of the newborn.
As Ryder has grown up, Cristina has been eager to share updates on all the big family moments, like in October 2025 when Ryder helped his dad unveil his spot on the North Carolina Auto Racing Walk of Fame.

They Married in the Bahamas in 2022
Greg and Cristina were married on New Year’s Eve 2022 on Pearl Island in the Bahamas.

“We’re just getting started. 😍💍,” Cristina wrote via Instagram in March 2023, sharing a video of wedding highlights.
The two have returned to the Bahamas multiple times since then, with Cristina calling it their “favorite spot” in an Instagram post to celebrate Greg’s birthday in December 2024.

A graduate from USC with an MBA from Purdue University, Cristina describes herself as a “serial entrepreneur since the young age of 12,” according to her author biography on Amazon. Cristina is the owner of Leisurely Real Estate, according to her Instagram channel. In addition to photos of Ryder, her social media is full of listings in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.

Cristina published her first book, Learning to Earn With Romanza Madge, in 2023. The 30-page educational picture book is aimed at young readers, following Romanza Madge, who finds “tasks and chores” around her neighborhood to earn money toward her goal.
