Summer House’s Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have officially split after rumors of marital strife.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” Batula and Cooke began in an Instagram statement on Monday, January 19. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
They continued: “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time. since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
Cooke and Batula’s relationship will be on display when Summer House returns for season 10 next month, with the twosome arguing over his DJ career and more in the teaser.
Speculation about tensions between Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, surfaced in November 2025 when a report claimed the couple were living separately. However, a source close to the reality stars told Us Weekly at the time that was not true.
“They are going through a challenging time,” the insider revealed, insisting that despite their struggles, Cooke and Batula were “both committed to making the relationship work.”
Days later, Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard assured fans that her costars’ marriage was solid regardless of their issues.
“It’s like any relationship, there’s ups and downs,” Hubbard, 39, exclusively told Us while attending BravoCon in November, reminding viewers that they’d watched Cooke and Batula’s “journey for 10 years” amid all of their highs and lows.

“I know that they’re so in love with each other, and they’re very much together,” she shared, shutting down split speculation at the time. “Like, come on.”
Hubbard claimed that it was “ no big deal” Cooke and Batula were going through a rough patch.
That same weekend, Cooke and Batula sat next to each other during a panel at the Bravo fan convention in Las Vegas, though they did not address their marital issues.
Summer House fans have had a front row seat to Cooke and Batula’s relationship since season 1 aired in 2017. The duo announced their engagement in September 2018 and tied the knot in September 2021.
Throughout their reality TV journey, viewers saw Cooke and Batula weather multiple challenges in their relationship, from his 2018 infidelity confession to their disagreements over where to live and whether to have children.
“We’re just trying to find our way and navigating all that with the show and an insanely stressful business that I’m running. It’s a lot,” Cooke told Us in February 2024. “I feel like dogs inadvertently kind of slowed down our baby making. … So we’re just taking it one day at a time.”
More than a year later, Batula revealed that starting a family was still a point of contention for her and Cooke.
“He’s gonna have to be on my page. If he could grow the baby, it could be on his timeline. But it’s happening in this body,” she told Us in May. “There was a lot of stuff on this [last] season that was him wanting to be a father, and, like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but he’s having this conversation with other people, and not the person that’s supposed to carry his child. So if he was actively [saying], ‘Hey, I want to have kids. Like, we should start trying to have kids,’ that would be different. That’s not a conversation that we’re having.”
Batula added that Cooke’s busy career made her question his sincerity, reasoning, “I know that he wants to be a father one day, but I know he’s not ready.”
Amid their marital struggles, Cooke teased his and Batula’s upcoming spinoff, In the City.
“I’ve always been an open book,” he told Us in November. “Lindsay, Amanda — we wear it on our sleeves. It’s not always easy, but we try to show anything and everything.”
