La Toya Jackson updated fans on her health in a video shared from a doctor’s office.
“Guess where I am on this Monday morning?” Jackson, 69, began in the upload, which she shared via Instagram on Monday, November 10. “You guessed [it]. That place again. Constantly getting checkups. Oh, well. Have a great week, guys.”
She captioned the clip, “Hi guys sending love, hugs and light to you all! ❤️💫Have a positive prosperous enjoyable week💖.”
While Jackson didn’t disclose why she needed a medical exam, she shared another video of herself seemingly filmed in the same room just days earlier.

Jackson’s friends and relatives were quick to share their well-wishes in the comments section.

La Toya previously shared that her brother Jackie, 74, and his wife, Emily, sent her flowers.
“Thank you for the lovely flowers, Jackie and Emily,” La Toya said in an Instagram video shared on November 3. “These are absolutely gorgeous. Made my day.”
The clip showed a large bouquet of pink and white roses displayed next to a statue, seemingly in La Toya’s home.
In the comments section, Jackie replied, “We love you!❤️.”
La Toya is the older sister of the late Michael Jackson, who died in 2009 at age 50. Their parents, Joe and Katherine Jackson, shared 10 children. La Toya is the fifth child and the middle sister. Her older sister, Rebbie, was born in 1950, while younger sister Janet arrived in 1966.

La Toya has been outspoken over the years about the abuse she and her siblings suffered at the hands of their father, who died in 2018 at age 89.
“It was very, very hard. My father was very strict. He beat us,” she said during a 1991 interview with Kathie Lee Gifford and the late Regis Philbin. “My brothers were grown and he would take his fist and he would punch them and knock them down the steps constantly.”
In a 2009 interview on CNN, Joe claimed he had “never beaten” his kids, but he did admit to using physical discipline.
“Yeah, I whipped my kids, and back then, there was nothing wrong with that,” he told The Chicago Defender in 2007. “Nowadays, people want to call the police on you. The people complaining about what I did got whippings from their parents too.”
