Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Sell 2nd Home for $16.5M Amid Split

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have sold a second house amid their ongoing divorce.

Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, quietly sold their joint property in Palm Desert, California, earlier this month for $16.5 million, according to Realtor.com. The outlet reported that the former couple bought the house in 2021 for $13 million.

Us Weekly previously confirmed in October that the Full House alum and Giannulli found a buyer for their Los Angeles home several months earlier and it was under contract.

Loughlin and Giannulli announced earlier that month that they had separated after 28 years of marriage.

“They are living apart now,” Loughlin’s rep told Us in a statement. “There are no legal proceedings underway.”

The estranged couple had gotten married in 1997, later welcoming daughters Bella, now 27, and Olivia Jade, now 26.

“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” a source exclusively told Us in October. “This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. They will not reconcile, there is currently no chance, and will ultimately divorce.”

While the pair have yet to formally file for divorce, a second source told Us weeks later that Loughlin and Giannulli had signed a prenuptial agreement when they tied the knot.

“He is still worth a lot of money and the prenup does not benefit her,” the second insider told Us. “Lori is so nice and does not have a vindictive bone in her body.”

Since their separation, Loughlin has returned to her acting roots and is gearing up to reprise her role as Abigail Stanton on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart.

Since the series’ debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties,” Hallmark Media executive Michelle Vicary said in a statement earlier this month. “At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of When Calls the Heart. We felt that season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”

Loughlin later joined the When Calls the Heart cast for their panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City on Friday, December 12.

Loughlin had initially left When Calls the Heart following her alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal. She and Giannulli were both arrested in 2018 for allegedly paying bribes to secure their daughters’ admission into the University of Southern California. They pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud in 2020 and were sentenced to prison.

Loughlin served two months in 2020 before her release, while Giannulli was sentenced to five months and released in April 2021. The now-exes also paid $400,000 in fines.

Loughlin was previously married to Michael Burns from 1989 to 1996, while Mossimo also shares son Gianni, 34, with ex-wife Chris Giannulli.
