Love Is Blind alum Alexa Lemieux has returned to social media more than one week after announcing her split from husband Brennon Lemieux.
“Happy birthday to my sweet emmush,” Alexa, 31, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, December 12, referring to half-sister Emma.
In the snap, Alexa sat in between her daughter, Vienna, and Emma.
“My whole heart,” Alexa captioned a second pic with her daughter.
Alexa announced earlier this month that she and Brennon, 35, had separated after four years of marriage.
“After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” read the caption of a joint Instagram statement on December 3. “This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared. We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way.”
They concluded, “While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion. We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority.”
Alexa and Brennon got engaged sight unseen on Love Is Blind season 3, which filmed in 2021 and aired on Netflix the next year. The reality TV stars tied the knot in the season finale, eventually welcoming Vienna in 2024.
Us Weekly confirmed that Brennon filed for divorce in early November, citing “conflict of personalities.”
“The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between [Brennon] and [Alexa] that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” his docs read.
Brennon also requested to maintain any separate property that was obtained before the pair got married and hoped to work out a “written agreement” over custody of Vienna.
“If such an agreement is made, [Brennon] requests that the court approve that agreement and adopt it as the court’s order,” the docs state. “If such an agreement is not made, [Brennon] requests the court to make orders for conservatorship of, possession of, access to, and support of the child.”
Alexa filed a legal response on December 4, denying Brennon’s claims and requesting a disproportionate share of the pair’s estate over his alleged “fault in the breakup of the marriage.”
Shortly before announcing their divorce, Alexa subtly reposted a handful of TikTok videos about navigating challenging times.
“If you’re reflecting on 2025 and you’re, like, ‘This is the hardest f***ing year [and] I don’t understand what this whole year was all about. I’m a completely different person at the end of this year than when the year began,’” a social media user said in a November video, which Alexa reshared via her account. “Just know it’s because it’s the year of the snake — the year of the wood snake to be specific.”
The individual added, “The best part about a snake year transformation is that it happens quietly, slowly and behind the scenes. Many of us have been transforming slowly, quietly and behind the scenes. … If you’re like, ‘I don’t even recognize [myself from January],’ just know you did exactly what you were supposed to.”
Brennon, for his part, has not publicly addressed the pair’s breakup.
