Ashley Darby has some choice words for her Real Housewives of Potomac costar Wendy Osefo.
During a Sunday, December 21, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Ashley was asked what happened between her and Wendy at BravoCon last month. At the time, Ashley revealed on stage that Wendy had refused to speak to her backstage over comments she made about Wendy and husband Eddie’s arrests in October.
Wendy, 41, and Eddie, 42, were indicted on charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and making a false statement to a police officer. They have denied the allegations. (“The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court,” a representative for the couple told Us Weekly at the time.)
The same day the couple were arrested, Ashley, 37, acknowledged the news while performing in Washington, D.C.
“We’re making melodies, not felonies, if you know what I mean,” she said. “I’m just throwing it out there. In case there’s some confusion, that’s what we’re doing around here. That’s all I’m doing here. Just making melodies. This ain’t news to us. This just news to y’all.”
“Zen Wen is in the pen,” she went on to quip.
During BravoCon’s Potomac Takes Vegas panel discussion, Ashley attempted to apologize to Wendy, though her olive branch wasn’t well-received by the former college professor.
On Sunday, Ashley told Andy Cohen, “My apology that I gave to her was to her children, more than anything else, and I stand by that apology.”
The singer added, “Wendy can also go kick rocks.”
“So you do not apologize to her?” Andy tried to clarify, to which Ashley responded, “No, to her family, to her children. They are innocent bystanders in all of this.”
Speaking on stage at BravoCon in November, Ashley admitted that her earlier comments about Wendy’s arrest were ill-timed.
“I can admit that I was maybe a little hot in the pants about what I said about Wendy,” she said. “When I thought about it later, it wasn’t the time or the place. Honestly, I said it light-heartedly, but I realize that this is in no way a light-hearted situation for Wendy, so I do want to say I’m sorry for how hot I came for Wendy and I mean it.”

Ashley said she tried to apologize to Wendy backstage; however, Wendy “didn’t wanna talk to me, so I receive that. I’m simply saying what I need to say and I mean it. You can either take it or not.”
Wendy replied, “Well, I will not. Thank you, God.”
Speaking exclusively to Us on the BravoCon red carpet, Ashley added, “I was maybe a little shady. I kind of take it back a little bit. I hit a little too hard a little too fast. I can acknowledge that, but I am worried about her, and I hope she’s OK, honestly.”
Wendy acknowledged the charges against her and Eddie at BravoCon, telling the audience, “I read your messages. I can’t respond to everyone, but your love and support means the world to me.”
“You know, it’s an unfortunate situation, and right now I can’t say too much, but I will say when the time is right, I will share my story with everyone, and for now they’re just allegations, so we will continue to push forward,” she added.
