Love Is Blind season 9 star “Sparkle Megan” Walerius planned to tell her ex-fiancé, Jordan Keltner, about her baby long before the bombshell reunion announcement.
“It was always on my radar, but I think the timing thing was tricky because I [didn’t] want to tell him too far in advance ‘cause I was keeping it very close to my chest,” Megan, 35, recalled on the Wednesday, November 5, episode of the “Viall Files” podcast. “I didn’t want it getting out further with the other Pod Squad people.”
Megan and Jordan, 31, got engaged sight unseen during Love Is Blind season 9 but broke up ahead of their planned wedding day over incompatible lifestyles. Within four months, Megan moved on with boyfriend Paul Wegman. Soon into her new romance, Megan found out that she was pregnant. (Megan and Paul, 46, welcomed son Brooks earlier this year.)
Megan kept the majority of her pregnancy under wraps, revealing the news publicly during the cast’s tell-all reunion, which aired October 29. Jordan said that he found out after being contacted by a social media stranger claiming to have insight into Megan’s pregnancy.

“I was adamant, ‘I want to tell him before [the reunion],’” Megan told podcast host Nick Viall. “I was always going to tell him, but the timing thing was hard. I was a little superstitious, like, I had a good pregnancy, but even [with] the birth, I’m like, ‘God forbid anything happens.’ … First and foremost was getting baby here healthy, and that was two months before [the season] was airing.”
While Megan weighed the right moment to reach out to Jordan, Paul advocated for it to happen sooner rather than later.
“I’ve been very transparent with him from the start, and he’s been super supportive,” Megan said of her new man. “He was actually the one encouraging me, like, ‘Have you told Jordan? When are you telling Jordan?’ I’m like, ‘I [am] trying to figure out when is the right time.’ So, if anything, Paul was the one pushing me to do it sooner.”
After informing Jordan of her pregnancy and subsequently welcoming her baby, Megan’s surprise was seemingly spoiled days before the reunion aired after she and Paul were spotted outside their Denver home with baby Brooks.

“I did not know there [were photographers] in Denver,” Megan said on Wednesday, denying that she contacted paparazzi. “I think [if I did] I would have looked a lot cuter. … I wanted to share that news myself at the reunion.”
Megan admitted the viral photos “pissed [her] off a little bit.”
“[Those photographs] took that away from me,” she said. “That annoyed me … because that’s my news to share.”
With Love Is Blind behind them, Megan and Paul are now settling into their new lives as parents.
“We were almost going to get engaged last fall, but we both decided — me especially with how quickly this Love Is Blind experiment happened — we are in no rush if we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together,” Megan exclusively told Us Weekly. “Let’s enjoy our time and continue to learn about each other. … I mean, the newborn snuggles were so much fun. Getting to see this little person that you created, learn and change and laugh and grow, it’s the best thing ever.”
