Who Are Jillian Green and Kyle Mowitz? Kim Zolciak Involved in Couple’s Divorce

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak was pulled into a Georgia couple’s $100 million divorce battle in September 2025.

Us Weekly obtained court documents showing that Jillian Green requested Zolciak appear in court to explain gifts allegedly bought for her by Green’s estranged husband, Kyle Mowitz. Green asked the court to compel Zolciak to provide communication records of her contact with Mowitz, as well as details of any “gifts given or received from Kyle” and “monies loaned to [her] and monies paid” by the businessman.

Zolciak’s attorneys opposed Green’s motion, calling it “unreasonable, oppressive and intended to annoy and embarrass her.” A judge has yet to rule.

Green and Mowitz’s court showdown occurred at the same time as Zolciak was going through her own nasty divorce battle with her estranged husband, former NFL star Kroy Biermann, where they both sought sole custody of their minor children. (Zolciak and Biermann — who split in 2023 after 12 years of marriage— share four children: Jagger “KJ” Jr., 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, 11. Biermann also adopted Brielle, 28, and Ariana, 23 — Zolciak’s’s two daughters from a prior relationship — during their marriage.)

When Were Jillian Green and Kyle Mowitz Married?

Mowitz listed June 24, 2017, as the date of their wedding.

When Did They Separate?

Mowitz filed for divorce from Green in March 2025 and stated that there was no hope for reconciliation. By the following month, he reported to the court that the estranged couple were living in separate Georgia homes.

Mowitz insisted that Green did not need any spousal support since she was an “able-bodied adult capable of gainful employment.” He asked for legal and physical custody of his and Green’s two minor children. Green responded in a counterclaim that she was willing to share joint legal custody, but asked to be awarded primary physical custody.

As far as their financial dispute, Mowitz was accused by his estranged wife of creating a family trust worth at least $100 million — which only he allegedly had control over — in 2021 while he was “engaged in an extra-marital affair and contemplating divorce.” According to Green’s counterclaim, her husband funneled the majority of their assets into the family trust prior to their divorce.

However, Mowitz accused Green of being the one who had an extramarital affair in a response to the court.

“[Green] however, has been steadfast in her desire to overcomplicate and over-expand this case, making it into something it is not to distract from her own conduct,” Mowitz alleged. “Particularly, [Green] has asserted baseless claims about the nature of a trust, of which she was fully aware of at the time it was created and at all times since and related to which her claims of a fraudulent transaction are wholly without merit.”

Both deny any wrongdoing.

What Is Kim Zolciak‘s Involvement in Green and Mowitz’s Divorce?

Court documents obtained by Us showed that, on September 20, 2025, Zolciak was served with a subpoena demanding she appear for a deposition in relation to Mowitz and Green’s divorce. According to the petition, Zolciak was served at a high school parking lot.

Green’s attorneys asked the RHOA alum to turn over any communication relating to “payment for services or communications concerning [Mowitz],” as well as contact about Green, their divorce, their children and any relevant third parties. Plus, Zolciak was asked to submit any contact between her estranged husband and Mowitz.

Additionally, Green sought “any and all documents regarding or pertaining to [Kim’s] financial relationship with Kyle Mowitz, including but not limited to gifts given or received from Kyle, expenses paid on your behalf by Mr. Mowitz or any business in which he is connected, monies loaned to you and monies paid to you by Mr. Mowitz or any businesses with which he is connected.” This request related to any potential business ties Zolciak may have had with Mowitz, as well as any personal dealings.

Green’s attorneys requested any information Zolciak could provide about travel arrangements and payments, itinerary and any expenses incurred during her travel with Mowitz.

In response, Kim’s attorneys called the request for her to be deposed “unreasonable, oppressive and intended to annoy and embarrass her.” Green’s requests for Zolciak were condemned as “overreaching and overly burdensome” for the “Tardy for the Party” singer by Mowitz’s attorney.

Mowitz’s lawyer, Marvin Solomiany, also told Us: “We are not going to litigate the facts surrounding our client’s divorce case outside of the applicable legal proceedings. We encourage you to review the pleadings we have filed on our client’s behalf, which accurately represent our client’s position relating to this matter. As to Ms. Kim Zolciak, Ms. Mowitz’s decision to involve her in the divorce case is highly unnecessary as any relationship our client may have with her only began after the parties’ separation.”

A judge has yet to rule on whether Zolciak will comply with Green’s requests, as of October 2025.
